LEARN MORE ABOUT KAILIE BELOW

How did you first learn about TSH and what drew you to us?

I learned about TSH in college from former interns who had nothing but positive things to say. What drew me to TSH is the aesthetic of their socials and their diverse portfolio– you can really tell that there’s a lot of love and care put into every project they put out!

What are 3 words to describe The Sampson House?

Collaborative. Modern. Innovative.

What projects are you currently working on? Which have been your favorite so far?

I’ve been enjoying learning about all of TSH’s clients. One that has stood out to me so far is Precious Angels. I drive by Precious Angels every day and didn’t realize they were one of TSH’s clients before starting here. I love their branding and socials, they’re so fun and eye-catching!

What motivates you to wake up and go to work?

Working with people that I truly enjoy collaborating with and learning from. The opportunity to better myself every day. That feeling when you complete a project, accomplish a goal, or help someone else accomplish their goals!

What do you spend your time doing when you’re not at work?

When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my fiance, Cadin, and my dog, Peaches. When it’s nice out, we’ll go disc golfing, play tennis, go kayaking, anything to soak up the sun! We also love traveling, so we’re always planning our next weekend getaway or big trip.

When did you develop an interest in art, design, and marketing?

I always knew I wanted to be in a creative field! I was drawn to social media marketing because it is largely based on aesthetics and following trends; being in an industry where things are constantly evolving and changing seemed ideal to me, because there’s always something new to learn. I’ve also always thought it would be fun to try my hand at being an influencer– the next best thing is being behind-the-scenes helping businesses grow their socials!

What’s a current marketing trend you see happening right now?

The AI craze has been ongoing, but I think in the past year, developments with AI technology in the marketing world have really been changing the game.

People are still wary of it, which is understandable, but if you know how to utilize it, it can help streamline processes that used to take double the time.

I don’t think people (especially those not in the marketing world) realize just how much of what we consume on social media is AI-generated or AI-assisted.

Who would be your dream client to work with and why?

A dream client would be a clothing brand like Free People or For Love and Lemons. Their branding is so dreamy and they’re always on trend or ahead of the curve. I’ve also always loved Mint + Basil, a local boutique in DTSF, and the aesthetic they put out on their socials.

I think it’s pretty cool that they’ve kept my interest for so many years– they’ve been one of my favorite stores since high school!

Best advice you’ve ever received?

Surround yourself with people who inspire you and push you to be the best version of yourself.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Adventurous. Imaginative. Ambitious.

What’s your favorite thing about your position?

Right now my favorite thing about my position is that no two days are the same. I don’t like feeling bored or stagnant in my work– luckily, the marketing and social media world is ever-changing and there’s always something new to learn or a new trend to follow!

What’s your ultimate bucket-list travel destination?

I recently got engaged in my ultimate bucket-list destination– Japan! I already want to go back. Other places on my bucket list are Rome, Amsterdam, and Madrid.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Gordon Ramsey. Ideally, I’d take a cooking class from him!

Your favorite restaurant?

Fancy Bowl on Phillips! My fiance and I go almost every weekend. The workers there recognize us now. 🙂

3 Interesting things about you:

I’ve sung in Carnegie Hall twice.

I grew up in California and lived an hour from Disneyland– my favorite childhood memory is going to Disney at least once a month!

I’m planning on getting married in Puerto Rico!

What are you currently listening to on your playlist?

Usually I’m not a “Top 10 Pop” listener– but Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Billie Eilish’s new album are on repeat right now!

Go-to TV show?

Right now I’m watching season 3 of The Bear, but my go-to show is The Crown. I’m a big fan of suspenseful, artistic shows.

When I need a break, I’ll watch reality television; as controversial as she is, Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s reality show “Life After Lock Up” is so good!

How do you define success?

Doing what you love and feeling fulfilled in your work. Making an effort to continue growing, learning, and becoming better at what you do, both professionally and in your personal life.

Dreaming big and not being afraid to take the steps to get there!

What do you bring to the table here at TSH?

I bring a fresh perspective to the team and the willingness to do what it takes to get TSH and our clients where they need to be!
