Welcome Milana: Our New Project and Marketing Manager
Major milestone moment for us here at The Sampson House. We are not only growing, but we've managed to bring on the BEST Project + Marketing Manager around. She's a familiar face to TSH as she just completed her internship here. Not once, but her 2nd internship with us. She's beyond a gem. We are lucky to have found her and can't wait to keep the growth going. Get to know Milana below.
1.) What is your title?
Milana - Project + Marketing Manager.
2.) What is your educational background?
a. A.A. from Southeast Technical Institute in Marketing w/ Sales Emphasis
b. B.A. from the University of Sioux Falls in Business Innovations and Marketing
c. M.B.A. currently in process at the University of Sioux Falls in Organizational Leadership with a Marketing Emphasis
3.) What will you be doing at TSH?
I will be a Project Manager and a Marketing Manager. As the Marketing Manager, I will be connecting with people and businesses that may want or need any of our marketing services. Then, as the Project Manager, I make sure that everything our client may need for a project is set up and executed.
4.) What drew you into TSH?
I was initially drawn to The Sampson House by the work the team curated. After the interview and interning there for almost two years, I knew I was at the right company.
5.) What was your internship like prior to being hired?
Before I was hired, my internship was pretty similar to my project management role. I would set up photo shoots for clients, schedule social media, research new products/services on digital platforms, curate emails/newsletters, and a little bit of everything in between.
6.) What do you bring to the team?
I bring my drive, creativity, jokes (that aren’t so funny sometimes), and my different perspective on ways to approach multiple situations.
7.) What do you love about digital marketing?
The biggest thing I love about digital marketing is the number of different people and businesses you can find, interact with, and collaborate with. There are millions of people in the world- how sweet is it that you can find someone with the click of a button?!
8.) 3 interesting facts about you -
a. I am bilingual- I speak Serbo-Croatian
b. I know how to dance folklore- traditional Serbian dance
c. I have a brown dot in one of my eyes.
