What projects are you working on at The Sampson House? I’ve been working on building business strategy for TSH’s in-house marketing, doing visualization reports for clients with optimization insight, auditing website’s content and creating content ideas.

What do you spend your time doing when you’re not working on TSH? This semester I am quite busy with all the coding classes. Cramming programming language definitely takes a lot of my spare time. I also work at the weekend at the on-campus Starbucks; and I will hangout with my friends on the weekend for a fancy dinner.

Favorite social media platform? Instagram 😊 I love scrolling lifestyle/coffee/food Instagram feed.

What are you reading right now?  Act like a Lady, Think like a man. A book by Steve Harvey for relationship.

What is your ideal weekend? A brunch in Josiah’s and a cup of coffee in Caribou while chilling out with friends. Calling my family and my boyfriend who are miles away ☹

What app could you not live without? Messenger. Without it, I won’t be able to stay connected with my lovers.

What’s your go-to coffee beverage?  Iced Matcha Latte or Iced Half White & Half Chocolate Mocha

When did you develop an interest in marketing? I started my Business major with an emphasis in Marketing at AU with a vague vision of what I’m going to do with it later. As I shadowed more people, did more marketing projects through class projects, school clubs, internship, I truly love the creative, fast-paced, technology-based aspect of the marketing world.

What drew you to The Sampson House? The aesthetic look definitely. I scrolled Instagram a lot and TSH’s feed is actually what drew me first.

Favorite way to blow off steam? A good nap or a shopping trip will definitely help. Super Spicy Dish is another good option too.

If you could have lunch with one person, who would it be and what would you order?  Steve Harvey. I love his shows and love his sense of humor and his subtlety. I would definitely tour him around my city and eat street food which are most yummy and cheap (less than $4).

Best advice you’ve ever received? Do what you love and love what you do

What’s your favorite thing about your internship? Everyone in the teams are open books: they are willing to share their insights and experience with me. I’m trusted with carrying on projects, through which I learned and nailed new skill.

What’s your ultimate bucket-list travel destination? Rome, Italy. I always dream of throwing my coin into the water tower and wishing my true love to come.

Favorite restaurant? Pho Thai. The hub of Asian cuisine.

3 interesting things about you:

1.) I can say “I love you” in 7 languages.

2.) I used to do motorcycle road trip in a foreign country when I was 20.

3.) I am a fan of Disney Movies.

What are you currently listening to on your playlist? Peaceful guitars, romantic music and pop songs.

Go-to show on Netflix? Crash Landing on You. A South Korean Drama featuring a cross-boundary love between a South Korean and a North Korean man.

Favorite pop artist? Shawn Mendes & Ed Sheeran. Their music are all too sweet … and I want to play Ed Sheeran on my wedding.

Ultimate dream career? Having my own business one day: embracing it and nurturing it like my own child.

What do you bring to the table here at TSH? My passion to learn, my culture/diversity and my insight from my work experience as Sales, Customer Service, Administration and Marketing to the table here at TSH.
